Flora-Bama is going back to the ’60s for Sandstock with tie-dye, peace signs, live entertainment and an all-day beach party. Admission is free. Hippie attire is optional, but I feel like you should commit.

✨ Animation Celebration: After Hours Magic at the PMA
Saturday, August 8 | 6–8 PM | Pensacola Museum of Art
This one-night fundraiser features original animation artwork, live music, signature cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a live art auction, a magician, caricature drawings, photo opportunities and more. Tickets are $75 for one or $100 per couple.

Welcome back, Tall Ship Elissa — Downtown Pensacola is very happy to host you again. According to Galveston Historic Seaport, home of the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa, she first visited here in 1886 and then again in 2018. This will be her final Galveston 250 appearance before returning home to Galveston, Texas.

Spots are limited, but you can enjoy a special daysail on Friday from 2–6 p.m. It’s your chance to join the crew on the water for an afternoon learning the ropes of sailing a National Historic Landmark.

The Elissa will also be open for FREE public tours Friday from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Details are available at galveston250.com.

The Legion Field to Global Learning Academy sidewalk connection project will add and replace sidewalks along portions of Gregory Street, North L Street and West Wright Street, along with related pedestrian and roadway improvements.

The goal is to improve pedestrian safety and better connect residents and students between Legion Field Park and Global Learning Academy.
