💛 A NOTE ON DOLLY PARTON

I could not let this week pass without saying something about Dolly Parton.

Many of you who know me well know how much I loved her. Not just for the music, although the music was incredible, but for the way she moved through the world.

Dolly was talented, funny, kind, generous, and completely herself. She gave us songs we will never forget, but she also gave millions of children books through her Imagination Library and showed the world what it looks like to use success for something bigger than yourself.

She made the world brighter. I am grateful we got to share the planet with her.
